Bloggers Night with Cory Doctorow
This is the first time I had a night out with Singaporean Bloggers Community. I knew some of them like Mr Brown (the godfather) , Mr Miyagi and of course the controversial XiaXue. The three are fomously appears in newspaper everyday. Several bloggers set up an agregate called Tomorrow which try to encourage bloggers to speak freely (hmmmm not so realistic about this). It's different athmospher in Singapore compared with Indonesia. Politic issues became so apparent when meet with sensitive and personal values.
Anyway, I met bunch of nice guys like : Ash, Preetam, Neil, Brandon, and others...Special guest was Cory Doctorow. He had few interesting session about blogs and copyright issue. I interviewed him about journalist and bloggers relationship. Great night..

The Bloggers night was part of Singapore Writers Festivals (SWF) event 26Agt-4Sept. Cory was a speaker of emerging media such as blogs etc. I will post more about his view later :)
